Region: Champagne, France
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Rating / Award: Decanter 93
Highlights / Critic Review:
12 months on lees without transfer in small oak barrels, then 6 months on fine lees to get ripe at ground temperature. 36 months of aging in bottle.
Tasting Notes:
Super ripe, with a richly toasty, smoky nose, there's also an attractive, honeyed element and a lush , buttery palate with some candied fruit notes, plus soft spices before a long, rounded generous finish.
