Highlights / Critic Review:
Sourced exclusively from Te Mata estate's own vineyards, the estate wines represent the best qualities of their variety, vintage, and Hawke's Bay origin. A mixture of new and seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months’ maturation.
Tasting Notes:
Dark crimson in colour. Ripe rapsberry, wild blackberry and black plum set against dark chocolate and velvety tannins. Layers of rich fruit, sandalwood, French Vanilla and pipe tobacco. With power, presence and length, Estate Cabernet/Merlot '20 delivers great pleasure right through its palate.
Wonderful to go with hard cheeses and anything that once lived in a field.
